Meaning:The royal priest Brihaspathi  filled the open palms of the scholarly gathering of sages 'Navarathnas" ( nine variety of precious gems representing nine planets- ruby(sun), pearl (moon), coral (mars), emerald (mercury), yellow topaz (jupiter), diamond (venus), blue saphire (saturn), hessonite (rahu) and catseye (ketu) ).

Thadaa Nrunaam Thathra Mahothsavobhoo Daakaasharaajasya Pureenivaasinaam.

Meaning:Lord Srinivasa tied the auspicious yellow thread (mangala soothram) duly purified by mantras around Goddess Padmavathi's neck.

Meaning:the priest along with Sage Vasishta and other qualified scholars used the grains that were held by Goddess Padmavathi in both Her palms....
