Ooru Kutcheri and The Journey

I have travelled widely within India for over four decades (1969- 2010) to cities, towns and villages to perform. Most of my journeys were by train or by road. The comfort of air travel was shunned by me in the interest of my Veena and as a result I took up tiring, boring and lengthy train travels.

'Ooru Kutcheri' is a light-hearted description of my routine train journeys.

'The Journey' is a fascinating kaleidoscope of feelings, observations and sentiments that stayed in my memory......

Ooru Kutcheri and The Journey will be posted in series of parts.
