Hi VGJi,
I am always confused on reading this sloka. What is special about the ear-rings of ambaal? There are few instances where Ambaal's ear-rings deserve special mention, as with Abhirami Bhattar, and Sri Akhilandeshwari (whose earlings where presented by Adi sankarar himself, to appease her anger)
But in this case, does Adi sankarar means to say that Her ear-rings are a symbol of her chastity?
Also, SL slokas confer all kinds of boons to the readers. Is there any particular sloka that could be read to get rid of fatigue, and get rejuvenated. Something that could be chanted for relaxation once a person is back home after a day of hard work? (Not sure if the 10th sloka will fit the bill)
Kindly enlighten me on this.

Dear Mrs. Mythili, I guess it could be that the ear ornaments are the nearest to Devi's face that has the capacity to reflect the power of Her face, and that too multi-fold, due to the various gems and gold reflecting the same. This representation, and that too in double-form (both ear rings) has equal or more power that Her face Itself.Yes, Sri Adi Sankaracharya refers to Ambal's chastity (Paathivrathyam) here, which is yet another dimension of Her face.
In the forth coming slokas, kindly look out for sloak for fatigue and rejuvenation, I will also find if there is some sloka for the same.
