13)NAARYAAHA KAPOLA PHAALOSHTA SHROTHRAAKSHI STHA NA RAMYATHAA

NAA BHYOORU JAGHANA SHRONEE SAUNDARYAM NAIVA SHAASHVATHAM.

Meaning- The appeal of a woman's cheeks, forehead, lips, eyes, breasts and the beauty of her navel, waist, neck and hips are not at all permanent.

14) SUKHA KARYAPI NAAREE SAA DUKHAMANTHEY PRAYACHCHATHI

AVICHAARYA NARO BHRAANTHAHA AAPATHSVEYVA PATHATHYAHO.

Meaning- Woman gives temporary pleasure but ultimately causes grief. The deluded man falls in difficulties due to his ignorance.

15) BHAARYAAPUTHRA SUHRUDBANDHU PRAJAANAAMHI NRUPASYACHA

KAARANAM VAIRABHAAVASYA KIM KVAARDHA SSUKHASAADHANAM.

Meaning- Wealth is the root cause for enmity with one's wife, son, public and authorities. Therefore how can wealth be the means to happiness?

16) BAALAADHIKAM SAMAADHRUTHYA BALAHEENAM NAPASHYATHI

LOKOYAM HI VYADHAAKAAREE MOHAKAAREE CHA THATTHVATHAHA.

Meaning- The world recognizes the socially strong and influential people and rejects the weaker section which is utterly delusional and regrettable according to the Ultimate Principle.

17) PUNARBHAVAHA PUNARMRUTHYUHU PUNARJANIHI PUNARJARAA

THASMAADVADATHI VIGNYAANEE "SUNISSAARA MIDAMJAGATH".

Meaning- Man goes through birth, death, rebirth and old age. Therefore a  knowledgeable man finds the world totally devoid of content.

18) SHABDAM SPARSHAM ROOPAMCHA RASA GANDHAUSAMAA SHRITHAHA

AVICHAARYA PARAM THATHVAM SOWKYAMAAPTHUM PRAVARTHATHEY.

Meaning- Man instead of analyzing the Supreme Truth is in quest for happiness through what he derives from the five senses- sound, touch, vision, taste and smell.

19) NITHYAMAAPOORYAMAANOPI DEERGHAKAALAM PRAYATHNATHAHA

NA BHAVISHYATHI KAAMAANTHAHA THRUSHNAA GARTHO NA POORYATHEY.

Meaning- Even though the abyss of desires is filled everyday, for over a very long time and with all efforts, the abyss is still not completely full. There is no end for desires.

20) DOORAADEVA SURAMYAACHA KSHANAMEYVA SUKHAPRADAA

VICHAAREY SAARAHEENAA SAA NAAREE THYAAJYAA MANEESHIBHIHI.

Meaning- The opposite sex is appealing only from afar, giving pleasure only for a fraction of a second and upon inquiry known to be devoid of substance. Intelligent people must shun the opposite sex.

21) JIHVO PASDHA SUKHABHRAANTHYAA SANCHARAM THYAVIVEKINAHA

LABDHVAAGRELPAM KSHANAM SOWKHYAM PASHCHAA DBHAVA NTHI DUKHINAHA.

Meaning- The ignorant are deluded by sensory temptations of food and sex. Hence they enjoy temporary and insignificant pleasures but later on suffer from miseries.

22) DUSHPOORA KAAMAVEGENA PANDITHOPI SUSIKSHITHAHA

KAARYAAKAARYAM NA JAANAATHI DUKHAM VRAJATHI MOODHADHEEHI.

Meaning- Due to the strong drive of intense passion and desire even the most learned scholar loses his capacity to discriminate between right and wrong. He therefore becomes stupid and ends up in misery.
